Company Description

RISA Sicherheitsanalysen GmbH was founded in 1990 by a research group of the Technical University of Berlin. Since then, the initial field of activities has expanded from probabilistic safety, risk and reliability analysis mainly for nuclear energy plants, to complex information system applications, decision analysis and support tools, optimisation and data analysis for various other industries and engineering offices. Our clientele includes, among others, the railway, automotive, and aviation transportation industries, as well as other public and private institutions.

We are looking for a Dissemination and Communication Manager that will join our team in our Athens branch office.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop the overall communication strategy of the company
• Collect input and develop content for the company’s website, social media accounts, newsletters, flyers, video presentations, press releases, articles, and other external communication channels
• Update and maintain the company’s website and social media accounts
• Implement communication, dissemination and exploitation activities linked to the overall strategy
• Define the communication and dissemination strategy of the company in the framework of EU-funded research and innovation projects
• Develop key messages and dissemination material in consultation with the project team and implement communication and dissemination activities for EU projects
• Organise events (workshops, demonstrations, promotional campaigns etc.) to communicate the project outcomes and the company’s achievements to relevant stakeholders
• Prepare reports and deliverables presenting the defined communication and dissemination strategy and the performed activities

Requirements

• BSc/MSc degree in marketing, communication or business or related field
• At least 3 years’ work experience in scientific dissemination and research communication in the framework of research projects (e.g. H2020)
• Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written)
• Organisational skills and practical experience in events planning and organisation
• Experience in website design/updates
• Experience with content management systems (WordPress, Joomla, etc.)
• Experience with graphics programs (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.)
• Experience with social media channels (LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.)
• Self-motivated with high quality standards and attention to detail

• Excellent interpersonal skills and reliability

• Ability to collaborate with multinational and multidisciplinary teams of academic and industrial partners in international research projects

Desired skills

• Experience in exploitation activities in the context of EU-funded research and innovation projects is considered a plus
• Knowledge of German will be appreciated
