Advertisement for the Position of “Technical Sales Specialty Chemicals”
Main Objective:
Providing active application-technical advice and support to customers Business expansion in the allocated region
Job Description:
Sales responsibility in the allocated target market (segment/region) Providing active support to established customers
Providing application-technical advice and support to customers (choice of materials, product benefits, test planning, where necessary following up on sampling, processing and evaluation of tests and test results etc.); intensive exchange with the R&D departments of our customers
Strategic development of new products, applications and potential new customers Expanding our business by following up on customer projects in the CRM system Carrying out regular customers visits and subsequently producing contact reports Preparing and submitting financial offers to customers
Independent expansion of own technical skills and participating in product training courses Generating market research and competition analysis
Budget planning and compilation for the relevant target market and customers Participation in European sales meetings both within the organisation & of suppliers Attending conferences, conventions and trade fairs
General Pre-requisites:
Technical knowledge equivalent of a chemical engineer, chemist, mechanical engineer or equivalent degrees
Excellent use of English (written & verbal) Communication skills, collaboration-teamwork, flexibility Active Driving License
