Purchasing Coordinator
Phoenix Engineering was founded on 2020 by a team of telecommunication industry experts, dedicated to providing optimized turn-key solutions in the fields of infrastructure and broadband technologies. The company serves diverse needs of telecom and infrastructure providers throughout Europe.
We are currently looking for a Purchasing Coordinator! You will work closely with the Head of Procurement and help our team keep growing by finding cost-effective deals and suppliers.
Responsibilities:
- • Conduct procurement market research for new suppliers
- • Approving the ordering of necessary goods and services
- • Finalizing purchase details of orders and deliveries
- • Evaluation of suppliers’ proformas
- • Entering suppliers' data and all orders and invoices in the respective ERP system and other databases used by the company
- • Examining existing contracts
- • Assist Head of Procurement in tracking and reporting key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
- • Assist Head of Procurement in implementing a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
Qualifications:
- • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, logistics, business administration or another similar field
- • 1 year previous working experience in Procurement or in a familiar Department
- • Excellent command of the English language
- • Very good command of the German language (currentlevel B2)
- • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- • Problem solving skills.
