Purchasing Coordinator
Phoenix Engineering was founded on 2020 by a team of telecommunication industry experts, dedicated to providing optimized turn-key solutions in the fields of infrastructure and broadband technologies. The company serves diverse needs of telecom and infrastructure providers throughout Europe.
We are currently looking for aPurchasing Coordinator!You will work closely with the Head of Procurement and help our team keep growing by finding cost-effective deals and suppliers.
Responsibilities:
- • Conduct procurement market research for new suppliers
- • Approving the ordering of necessary goods and services
- • Finalizing purchase details of orders and deliveries
- • Evaluation of suppliers’ proformas
- • Entering suppliers’ data and all orders and invoices in the respective ERP system and other databases used by the company
- • Examining existing contracts
- • Assist Head of Procurement in tracking and reporting key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
- • Assist Head of Procurement in implementing a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
Qualifications:
- • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, logistics, business administration or another similar field
- • 1 year previous working experience in Procurement or in a familiar Department
- • Excellent command of the English language
- • Very good command of the German language (currentlevel B2)
- • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- • Problem solving skills.
