Το DSAMUN είναι το παλαιότερο συνέδριο στην Ελλάδα, σηματοδοτώντας τη φετινή σχολική χρονιά 26 χρόνια επιτυχημένων προσομοιώσεων συνεδριάσεων των επιτροπών των Ηνωμένων Εθνών. Κάθε χρόνο μαθητές και μαθήτριες με κοινό πάθος για την πολιτική και τις διεθνείς σχέσεις συγκεντρώνονται τρεις ημέρες του Οκτωβρίου στις εγκαταστάσεις της Γερμανικής Σχολής Αθηνών, προκειμένου να συζητήσουν, να επιχειρηματολογήσουν και να εκφράσουν τις απόψεις των αντιπροσωπειών τους για σημαντικά παγκόσμια ζητήματα.
Το 26ο συνέδριο DSAMUN επικεντρώνεται στην ηθική, έναν νέο ηθικό κώδικα στον σύγχρονο κόσμο. Ζώντας στον 21ο αιώνα, μας προτρέπουν να ακολουθούμε τις ηθικές αρχές της κοινωνίας μας και να συμπεριφερόμαστε με «ηθικά ορθό» τρόπο. Τι ακριβώς, όμως, συνεπάγεται αυτή η ηθική; Η Britannica ορίζει την ηθική ως «την πειθαρχία που ασχολείται με το τι είναι ηθικά καλό και κακό και ηθικά σωστό και λάθος». Ωστόσο, αυτό που μπορεί να γίνει αντιληπτό ως ηθικά καλό και κακό είναι ευρέως ανοιχτό σε ερμηνεία.
Με το συνέδριο αυτό και το συγκεκριμένο αυτό θέμα, ελπίζουμε να δώσουμε σε όλους τους/ τις συμμετέχοντες/ συμμετέχουσες ένα κίνητρο να σχηματίσουν τη δική τους ηθική πυξίδα, η οποία θα τους καθοδηγεί σε όλη τους τη ζωή και θα τους βοηθά να καθορίσουν τις ηθικές τους αξίες ως πολίτες του κόσμου.
26th Deutsche Schule Athen Model United Nations Conference
We cordially invite you to the 26th DSAMUN Conference (Deutsche Schule Athen Model United Nations Conference) to be held from Friday 20 to Sunday 22 October 2023 at Deutsche Schule Athen / Germaniki Scholi Athinon (GSA).
DSAMUN is a three-day-long simulation of the work of the United Nations. It is designed for secondary school students (Greek Lykeion/grades 10-12) and is intended to provide an occasion for the delegates to discuss world issues. It gives them the opportunity to experience the work of the United Nations and to get to know the world of diplomacy. For students from schools where the first language is not English an MUN conference also offers the opportunity to develop and practice their English, as the official language of DSAMUN (preparing resolutions, lobbying, debating) is English.
DSAMUN has 4 General Assembly Committees (Disarmament and International Security Committee, Social, Humanitarian and Cultural Committee, Special Political and Decolonization Committee and Legal Committee) and 6 specialized committees (Security Council, ECOSOC, Environmental Committee, Special Conference on Ethics, Youth Assembly and International Court of Justice).
The delegates should research and prepare draft resolutions and policy statements on the various issues and learn to negotiate and debate in the formal way of the United Nations.
